Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, we will be postponing our workshop in Chile until Fall 2021.
Join your hands, heads and hearts in a joyous team collaboration at the beautiful Rio Colibri family lodge, located at the foot of the Andes mountain range and along the waters of the Mapocho River.
Our Host: Rio Colibri
Rio Colibri is a family lodge that invites people to connect with their own nature,
enjoy the quiet of the mountains and relish in simple, beautiful life experiences.
enjoy the quiet of the mountains and relish in simple, beautiful life experiences.
Location: Just outside of Santiago, Chile
Rio Colibri is immersed in nature, located at the foot of the Andes mountain range and along with the waters
of the Mapocho River. Santiago city is only 15 minutes away, where you can visit the historical city center full of art and cultural sites, or enjoy the bohemian nights in Bellavista. In November the ski centers, near Rio Colibri, are closed, but you can still visit the spectacular views from the tops of the mountains by hiking on foot or trekking on horseback through Los Andes. |

Learn how to build an AirCrete dome and more!We are thrilled to offer this workshop in both English AND Spanish!
DOMIE BONUS! Each participant will receive Architectural Drawings of Steve's Dome Home
(a 16-page detailed digital download ) |
We've come a long ways since our first domes which were made of clay bricks and cinder blocks. Now we'll teach you how to build your own dome home with AirCrete - an amazing material that you can make yourself almost as easily as making pancake batter. Learn to build a low-cost dome home that is fireproof, termite proof, rot proof, insulating, sustainable, strong and durable against the forces of earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.
*Please Note: During the 10-day workshop, we build a basic dome structure as depicted in the picture above. This does not include plumbing, electrical or finished flooring. We do our best to complete the AirCrete dome during the workshop; however, there is no guarantee of completion. Unexpected obstacles like weather conditions, for example, may prevent the dome’s full completion. Student effort and efficiency largely dictate overrall progress.
Check out these beautiful Aircrete domes built in Spain by one of our 2018 workshop graduates, Nate D.
